Right of Refusal
When it comes to ensuring the safety and well-being of all pets at our boarding facility, stringent policies are necessary. One such policy pertains to the submission of valid documents proving a cat’s eligibility for boarding. Owners must provide up-to-date vaccination records and any other required health certifications. Failure to submit these documents will result in the denial of boarding services. This rule is in place to protect all animals from potential health risks and to maintain a safe environment for every pet in our care.
Additionally, our facility has specific requirements that cats must meet to be eligible for boarding. These requirements include being spayed or neutered, having no history of contagious diseases, and being free from parasites such as fleas and ticks. Cats who do not meet these criteria will not be accepted for boarding. These standards are crucial to ensuring that all boarded animals are in good health and that the risk of disease transmission is minimized.
Finally, the behavior of the cats at check-in is also a critical factor in determining their eligibility for boarding. Cats displaying overly aggressive tendencies, such as hissing, scratching, or biting, will not be accepted for boarding. Such behaviors can pose significant risks to our staff and other animals. We recommend that owners work with their veterinarians or professional trainers to address any behavioral issues before attempting to board their cats at our facility. Our ultimate goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment for all pets in our care.
